About Mukuni Village

Mukuni Village, founded in the 13th century, is home to Chief Mukuni and more than 7,000 inhabitants. It is one of the oldest continuously inhabited settlements in Zambia and a proud custodian of the Toka Leya culture. The village has maintained its traditional way of life for centuries, blending heritage with the realities of modern Africa.
